This week, The Brewsroom discusses Bud Light’s new advertising strategy (which is awful), drinks beers from Against The Grain (which were delightful) and chats about Constellation’s purchase of Funky Buddha. Plus, Good Boy John is back with a blind beer of the week and the cast offers their recommendation for a few captivating Netflix documentaries.
The Brewsroom is a weekly beer podcast from St. Louis, MO, and part of Saint Brewis Radio. Tune in as we discuss beer, brewing and life!
MEET THE GUYS FROM THE BREWSROOM
Jeff Britton is the owner of Exit 6 Pub and Brewery in Cottleville. For some reason, he gave Justin a chance at brewing professionally and to this day wonders why. As the craft beer veteran of the group, he's the one the other guys look to for the expert opinion on all things beer. His mom voted him "Best Brewsroom Host." He also lets the guys drink at the bar for free which is pretty much the only reason they allow him to hang out with them.
Justin Helm, home brewer turned brewmaster at Exit 6 brewery, has been enjoying craft beer for more than 12 years. His insights into magic the gathering, Seinfeld, and brewing give him the edge in the fight to be the best Brewsroom co-host.
Mark Arminio is the owner of Questionable Pursuits, a company that creates live trivia events at your favorite bars and restaurants (and also Shamrocks Pub and Grill). He also owns St. Louis Casino Party, an event-planning business providing casino tables with professional dealers for corporate events and private parties. As the Brewsroom’s resident beer enthusiast, he has the distinction of having less knowledge about beer, brewing and the craft industry than anyone on the show, a deficiency which he covers with cheap puns and obscure pop culture references. Please don’t tell the others.
Kyle Dent is an owner of Shamrocks Pub and Grill in St. Peters, MO. Known for his impeccable reading skills and advanced cultural knowledge that he learns on Yahoo. The other guys call him the "Audio Problem" but in his mind, he's the host that is the glue that keeps the show together.
