Brewery: O'Fallon Brewery
Location: Maryland Heights, MO
Name of Beer: Hard Key Lime
Beer Style: Flavored Ale
Our Thoughts: Two of St. Louis' staple beverage makers have teamed up once again. Hot off the heels of their Hard Root Beer, O'Fallon and Fitz's are ringing in the new year by bringing us Hard Key Lime, an ale brewed with pure cane sugar and tart key limes. O'Fallon plans to re-launch the Hard Root Beer and launch Hard Key Lime the second Monday of March. Until then, stop by the O'Bar in Maryland Heights or Fitz's in the Delmar loop for a treat or look for them on your favorite retailer's shelves.
Brewery: 4 Hands Brewing Company
Location:St. Louis, MO
Name of Beer: City Wide Pilsner
Beer Style: Pilsner
Our Thoughts: City Wide has been a massive success for 4 Hands. Not only is it a delicious Pale Ale, but proceeds from it's sales go to local not-for-profit organizations. This new offering from 4 Hands will expand on the City Wide line. This won't be the first lager that 4 Hands has produced, but judging from the name, this will hopefully be the first to see packaging, most likely as 4 packs of cans. If this new City Wide Pilsner follows the same path as it's predecessor, it will further establish 4 Hands reputation as one of St. Louis' finest breweries.
