Did you know most pollution comes from overseas freighting? Yep. Fossil Fuels.
Aroma - A healthy dose of sulfur pops out followed by a sweet raspberry and sweet fruits. The overall profile is "clean" with no lingering notes to be named but a brief tartness exists.
Appearance - This one is a hazy pink (light red amber?) with a sparkling white head that dissipates quickly but sticks to the glass at its edges.
Flavor - The raspberry is subtle but quite present and only subtly sweet. It doesn't have the earthy character that I get from raspberries but its got a sweet fruitiness to it that's reminiscent of cherries. It's also got a slight lemony character to it that plays with the sourness that the style is known for. The finish is semi-dry.
Mouthfeel - The carbonation is high and the body is light-medium.
Overall Impression - I didn't expect this out of a can. Now that more and more breweries are canning, I think I need to retrain my brain on that notion. This one was very drinkable even with its tartness so I'm calling this a summer sleeper. Too bad they don't distribute in MO.
