Do people still say "in yo face?"
I just did.
Aroma - Bubblegum bounces out first followed by some white pepper and that's about it. Some banana too. Man, this bubblegum is YUGE.
Appearance - It's a very light straw with a fluffy white head made up of tight bubbles.
Flavor - The bubblegum is here too but it's quite bright and vinous which can be attributed to the grapes. While the beer's name comes from a breed of hops, there's more yeast character but you can pick the hops in the finish.
Mouthfeel - The carbonation is high with the body at medium which lends itself to a light mouthfeel but it's nicely effervescent.
Overall Impression - Based on the name, I was expecting a lot more hops from it. Maybe it was a naive thought but hey, man...here we are. Regardless, the fun that the grapes brought to the show was my highlight for this one. I would drink it again but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
