Brewery: Bastard Brothers Brewing Company |
Location: High Ridge, MO |
Name of Beer: American Wheat |
Beer Style: American Wheat |
ABV: 4.61% |
Our Thoughts: We showed you Bastard Brothers' American Lager in last week's NBN and this week we see their American Wheat. We're happy to see some more local beers hit shelves and their natural carbonation for each style is something we're interested in checking out. |
Brewery: Schlafly Beer |
Location: St. Louis, MO |
Name of Beer: Caraway IPA |
Beer Style: American IPA |
ABV: 7.2% |
Our Thoughts: Another beer in their "Hop Allocation" series shows up this week. Last week we saw a bunch of the beers in this series come through and this Caraway version is one that really piques our interest. Based on the quality of a lot of their recent beers, we trust their judgement but this one may not tickle everyone's fancy. |
Brewery: Crane Brewing Company |
Location: Raytown, MO |
Name of Beer: Nostalgia |
Beer Style: Saison |
ABV: 7.3% |
Our Thoughts: The guys at Crane are always up to something. This beer is going to be a "Belgian-Style Ale brewed with Grape Juice, Aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels" and bottle conditioned. Yes, it sounds weird. Yes, it sounds awesome. Yes, we'll review it as soon as we possibly can. |

Brewery: 4 Hands Brewing Company |
Location: St. Louis, MO |
Name of Beer: Smore's Chocolate Milk Stout |
Beer Style: Milk Stout |
ABV: 5.5% |
Our Thoughts: We've reviewed a few different Smore's beers in the past and they are definitely something we're a fan of. Some of these turn out better than others but we have a feeling that 4 Hands knows what they're up to based on all of the chocolate milk stout variants they've done in the past. |

Brewery: 4 Hands Brewing Company |
Location: St. Louis, MO |
Name of Beer: Gingerbread Chocolate Milk Stout |
Beer Style: Milk Stout |
ABV: 5.5% |
Our Thoughts: There's no question that 4 Hands makes a damn good chocolate milk stout. Again, they've done a ton of variants based on their regular CMS and those never dissapoint. This one will happily make its way into our mouths the moment it's available.. |
