Brewery: Civil Life Brewing Company |
Location: St. Louis, MO |
Name of Beer: American Brown Ale |
Beer Style: American Brown Ale |
ABV: 4.8% |
Our Thoughts: Oh. My. God. We're huge fans of what Civil Life does. Malty, true-to-style goodness in each beer they produce. The only downside is you have to visit the brewery or find it on tap at a bar because it isn't bottled for sale. It's still not going to be bottled either. IT'S COMIN' IN CANS, BABY! We don't have an ETA on when you'll find them on shelves but we know they were shooting for a 2016 rollout and it looks like it's on its way sooner than later. |
Brewery: O'Fallon Brewery |
Location: Maryland Heights, MO |
Name of Beer: Apple Cinnamon Pumpkin |
Beer Style: Spiced Pumpkin Beer |
ABV: 5.6% |
Our Thoughts: If this seems like deja vu, it's because a couple week ago O'Fallon appeared in our New Brew News with a different spiced pumpkin beer, Jack o' Latte. This fall, they'll have more versions of their pumpkin beer on shelves than ever before and you can bank on their taproom having smaller batches of experimental pumpkin beers, too. |
