Brewery: Narrow Gauge |

Name of Beer: Double Dry Hopped Cloud City |
Beer Style: IPA |
ABV: 7.0% |
Our Thoughts: In these turbulent times that we live in, it's nice to have something to count on that always delivers. Since 2016, Narrow Gauge has proven to be one of the most consistent breweries around, delivering masterpieces time and tine again. They've earned nationwide recognition and have brought people from across globe to Florissant to sample their wares. While not technically a new beer, the news of more beers being canned by Narrow Gauge always fills us with glee. Currently available on draft and to go in crowlers and growlers, Narrow Gauge's Double Dry Hopped Cloud City, an IPA double dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy and El Dorado, will soon be available in 4 packs of 16 ounce cans. This reminds us once again how blessed we are to have such a fantastic brewing community in St. Louis. Be on the lookout for these soon. |

Brewery: Missouri Beer Company |
Location: O'Fallon, MO |
Name of Beer: Dry Stout |
Beer Style: Stout |
ABV: 4.2% |
Our Thoughts: While the dry stout might be most closely associated with Ireland in general and Guinness, in particular, American craft brewers have embraced the dry stout and produced many quality examples of the style. Typically lighter bodied and highly drinkable with roasty malt and coffee flavors and a solid hop bitterness, these beers seem to be popping up on tap handles at brewpubs throughout the area more and more. You can add Missouri Beer Company to the growing list, as they will soon roll out their own dry stout. At 4.6% ABV, this is a perfect session beer and will help take the chill out of a cold winter's night. |
