A Night at the Brewseum is back for its third installment, honoring the history of beer advertising in St. Louis!
This FREE evening, brought to you by the Missouri Historical Society Library & Research Center and supported by Urban Chestnut Brewing Company, ALIVE Magazine and GUIDEDSaintLouis, features a special look at our city’s beer advertising through the ages. Mingle with fellow brew-lovers and design nerds while sipping on craft beers at Brennan’s Work & Leisure. Then learn about St. Louis’ staple beverage from the experts during a panel.
What to expect:
– 6pm mix and mingle
– 6:30pm panel discussion on the history of beer advertising in St. Louis, including Charlie Claggett Jr., formerly of D’Arcy St. Louis, David Wolfe of UCBC and historians from the Missouri Historical Society.
– Rarely seen historic print and TV advertisements from the MHS collections will be featured and on display.
– Learn how to get involved with the Missouri Historical Society through the Young Friends program
