Beers and Bees: Brewing with Honey

Please join the Pink Boots Society of St. Louis at Urban Chestnut (Grove Event Space) for our June General Meeting! We will have our own Amanda Mikolay educating us on “Beers & Bees: Brewing with Honey.” It will be an informal lecture over bees and their habitat, honey varietals, fermentation with honey sugars, to a tasting portion (both honey and honey beers!)

The following is the schedule for the evening:
5:30-6:15pm Social Time
6:15-6:30pm General Meeting
6:30-7:30pm Educational Presentation

Meetings are open to members only, but if you are thinking about joining, your first meeting is on us! Non-members that want to attend this event will be $20- all proceeds go towards Pink Boots Society STL.

PBS membership is open to women who meet the following qualifications:

1) Current or Retired Beer Industry professionals who are actively employed and receiving 25% or more of their income from the beer industry or retired (with a minimum of 15 years) from a career in the beer industry;
2) Women who are in the process of opening a brewery, taproom, brewpub or other beer establishments (within 6 months of opening and with a TTB approval or lease); and
3) Women who are students currently enrolled in a beer industry focused/accredited program.
