Justin:
Aroma - An overwhelming sweetness. Getting a lot of caramel with some background notes of cinnamon and clove. |
Score: 10/12 |
Appearance - A cloudy amber with a thin, tan head |
Score: 3/3 |
Flavor - Cloying. Ridonkulous sweetness. Holy dear sweet lord there's residual sugar like crazy. Where the hell is this banana coming from? |
Score: 12/20 |
Mouthfeel - Thick. Low carbonation and just thick. |
Score: 3/5 |
Overall Impression - I found this beer to be overwhelmingly sweet. Due to the sweetness, it was hard to get a read on much else that was going on with it. The Bruery has earned a reputation that creates some whales out of some of the beers they produce. This one, while it may be hard to get, is not something that in my opinion you should go to far out of your way to acquire. |
