My dog only humps his pillow and my other dog. Your leg is safe.
Aroma - Sweet citrus of orange zest and grapefruit mixes with equal parts of subtle pine and resin. Malt notes are bread crust and slight caramel.
Appearance - The beer pours a clear gold with a thin off-white head that clings to the glass, creating a nice lacing.
Flavor - Bitter resinous hops dominate the flavor with some juicy hops (orange mostly) supporting it. The malt is sweet bread crust but its efforts to overpower the bitterness are futile.
Mouthfeel - It has a medium+ body, medium carbonation and very subtle alcohol warmth.
Overall Impression - Years ago, I would take this bad boy out on the river for some day drinkin' on numerous occasions. This was when choices were limited in cans and I was on my huge hops phase. It's been a while since I've had it but now I see why I liked it so much. It's a hop BOMB! It's bitter in a way that that a casual hop fan wouldn't appreciate but hop heads would love. While I've had better examples of the style, this one is quite available, quite affordable and will easily quench your hop thirst.
