When I'm at your house, why is "dwarf hamster watch" a place you can check into on Untappd?
Aroma - The hop character is awesome. It's got some nice floral character that blends with pine. After that, the citrus kicks in: Orange zest, grapefruit and even some melon are present. The malts (if you can find them) are pie crust and wheat bread.
Appearance - It's a clear, light gold with a very tight, small-bubbled head that is bright white and stays a 1/4 inch high the entire time you drink the beer.
Flavor - The beer is a mix of juicy and dry all at once which sound crazy...because it is.....crazy awesome. It's more citrus than it is pine or floral here and the same players are in the game: orange zest, grapefruit and just a wee bit of melon. The malts are purely there for balance and that's not a problem with me.
Mouthfeel - The body and carbonation are both slightly above medium and the overall sensation is pillowy and fluffy. Quite nice.
Overall Impression - My favorite Old Bakery beer by far. This one was dry hopped with Citra, Cascade and Crystal hops which explains all of the citrus. It was extremely well balanced while still staying hop forward which made it very enjoyable to drink. This may make its way into my beer fridge repertoire.
