Justin:
Aroma - 100% peach/apricot on the nose. Can't find anything else |
Score: 8/12 |
Appearance - Very clear, almost crystal clear. Head is dense and enormous. |
Score: 3/3 |
Flavor - It almost tastes like a peach soda more than a beer. The one thing that separates it from being such is the underlying bready wheat flavors that help smooth out the sweetness. Not cloying but fairly sweet. |
Score: 14/20 |
Mouthfeel - Medium body, low-medium carbonation. Great smooth finish. |
Score: 4/5 |
Overall Impression - This beer is a HUGE crowd-pleaser for O'Fallon and I'm sure they sell a ton of it. This is a great intro beer for those who "don't like craft beer" and can go down easy on a warm day while you're standing by the grill. |

Blake:
Aroma - Did I just drop peach rings into my beer? Lots of peach and apricot. |
Score: 9/12 |
Appearance - Just like my bag of peach rings, orange and white are predominant colors here. |
Score: 3/3 |
Flavor - Did I say anything about peach rings? Because, seriously, peach rings. Oh yeah, and there is a bit of underlying wheat flavor lurking around as well. |
Score: 14/20 |
Mouthfeel - Light and smooth, with medium carbonation. |
Score: 3/5 |
Overall Impression - This might sound insulting, but it isn't meant to, but this is the kind of beer I hand to my significant other to try. She's not really into beer like I am, but she might consider drinking this over one of her ciders if she tried it. It isn't the most sophisticated beer, but it isn't trying to be either. In the mood for something sweet, this is your beer. |
Score: 7/10 |
