I can see how Alanis loved Dave Coulier that much.
Justin:
Aroma - Smells like one of those Luden's cough drops you suck on in grade school even when you don't have a cold. It also smells like a berry snow cone. In other words, it's outrageously fruity. The cherry aroma is the most abundant and subtle tartness sneaks in the back. |
Score: 11/12 |
Appearance - A HUGE light pink head made up of tight, small bubbles tops the beer. The beer itself is a clear ruby red. |
Score: 3/3 |
Flavor - It tastes very close to the aroma. It's not as sweet because the tartness balances it out. This one is fruity beyond fruity with cherry and apple leading the way. |
Score: 17/20 |
Mouthfeel - The carbonation is a little past medium and the body is medium for a nice crisp feel. |
Score: 4/5 |
Overall Impression - I'm not a huge fan of fruit beers but this one was awesome. It was incredibly fruity but the soft tartness helped out a bit with all that sweetness. While I could only drink one of them because of the sweetness, this would pair well with literally any light or fruity dessert and that's what I'll keep it on hand for. |

Aroma - Wow, this one is all fruit. Cranberries, cherry, and a bit of apple wallop your nose with intense sweetness. The fruit is so intense it's damn near impossible to pick out anything else in the beer. |
Score: 11/12 |
Appearance - Ruby red with a tall pinkish white head. Looks a bit like kool-aid with a head of foam. |
Score: 3/3 |
Flavor - Very very sweet. Once again the three fruits present here really dominate everything about this beer. The apple is a bit more present than I found it on the nose. All three blend really well for an incredibly sweet treat. |
Score: 17/20 |
Mouthfeel - Hefty carbonation and a body on the low side of medium. Very crisp finish. |
Score: 4/5 |
Overall Impression - I dare anybody who says they don't like beer to try this one. It's just an example of how wide of a spectrum there is in beer. Serendipity is so intensely fruity that it almost feels like cheating. I'm hoping to take a visit to New Glarus sometime this summer, and when I do I'll be bringing back a number of the fruit beers that the wife and I can share for a while. |
Score: 9/10 |
