This is the shit I live for.
Justin:
Aroma - The biggest aroma I pick up is actually chocolate, not coconut. After the chocolate, I get some dark fruits, mostly raisin and even a little tobacco. The thing I got the least? Coconut. |
Score: 8/12 |
Appearance - A deep amber beer comes with a firm, tan cap of foam that sits on top for as long as you drink it. |
Score: 3/3 |
Flavor - In a change from the aroma, the chocolate is small. In continuing with the aroma, the coconut is small, too. The overall balance of the beer between bitter and sweet is actually quite nice. While they hops don't have many perceptible flavors, they do their job in making sure it's not overly sweet. Despite the 6% ABV, I actually get a little bit of alcohol. |
Score: 15/20 |
Mouthfeel - The carbonation is medium+ and body is medium. |
Score: 3/5 |
Overall Impression - Where's the coconut? It was very, very hard to find and that was a little disappointing. The beer itself was actually pretty darn good. I just wished the coconut was more present. |
Score: 7/10 |
