I think they need a new name for mouthfeel because that word just sounds dirty to me.
Justin:
Aroma - The first aromas are spicy and white peppery with a nice lemony citrus note to round it out. It's hard to find the malts behind the yeast but they are white bread when they're found and the hops are slightly floral. |
Score: 10/12 |
Appearance - This one is a crystal clear light gold with a fluffy white head made up of large bubbles. The head goes down to a slick film but still leaves subtle lacing. |
Score: 3/3 |
Flavor - This one is a great blend of spice, sweet and toasted notes. The yeast is the dominant force with the hops coming in second with their floral notes. The malts are slightly toasted with white bread notes and provide great balance. It finishes quite dry. |
Score: 17/20 |
Mouthfeel - The carbonation is above medium and the body is medium. |
Score: 4/5 |
Overall Impression - Logboat does it again. The yeast on this one was very animated and added a lot of character. The beer was incredibly drinkable and refreshing. It wasn't my favorite beer in their lineup and not one that I would purchase regularly but it is nice and I would definitely order it if I saw it on tap. |
Score: 8/10 |
