Every medicine should look AND taste like a Flintstone chewable.
Justin:
Aroma - There's a tart tropical fruit and fruit juice aroma that blends with mild bits of sulfur and completely dominates everything. I don't eat passion fruit on the reg, so I can only say that it reminds me of grapefruit juice. But let's be honest, we both know its passion fruit because...you know. |

Appearance - Pours a hazy gold with a thin, white head that leaves seconds after it's poured. |
Score: 2/3 |
Flavor - Fruit. Tart. Everything fruit and tart. There is some interesting stuff happening beyond the fruit but it has nothing to do with hops, it's the yeast. There's a unique blend of bubblegum and subtle white pepper. |
Score: 14/20 |
Mouthfeel - It has a light-medium body, medium+ carbonation and a crisp, dry finish. |
Score: 4/5 |
Overall Impression - I'm still a little perplexed by this one. It's tart, but it's definitely not from the yeast or lacto or anything. It's fruity but only in a watery, juice kind of way. There's an interesting mix but I'm not sure it's for me. My wife really enjoyed this one and she's not into "sour" beers so I could see this being a transition beer for those unaccustomed to the pucker you get with some styles. |
