Aroma - Coffee. Delicious, roasted coffee. There is some chocolate that mixes in nicely behind it coupled with a subtle sweetness. The only other thing I'm getting is nuttiness but this coffee is awesome.
Appearance - It's a deep, opaque brown with a tan head that sticks to the glass at its edges but is a thin film in the center.
Flavor - Again, great roast notes and coffee mix well and remind you of a morning cup of joe. The nuttiness in the nose around again and while it is very, very subtle it's still present. There is a sweetness that comes across as caramel or burnt sugar but it's light. The malts also have a nice chalkiness to them that cleans the palate.
Mouthfeel - The carbonation is just above medium and the body is just below medium. Thinner than I expected but still nice.
Overall Impression - This was extremely drinkable. Low ABV coffee stouts are surprisingly refreshing in my opinion. This one serves as yet another example of how something doesn't have to be imperial for it to be delicious and rate well.
