Best Quote During Tasting
It feels so good on my lips.
Justin:
Aroma - All malt on the nose. It's chocolatey and roasty with some dark fruit character and an overall sweet aroma. |
Score: 9/12 |
Appearance - Pours deep brown, nearly black with a thin, beige head. |
Score: 3/3 |
Flavor - Whoa. The first thing I taste is chocolate from the malt but then there's a tangy, sourness that comes out and overwhelms everything else. I can't imagine it was supposed to taste like this. INFECTED! |
Score: X/20 |
Mouthfeel - Very thin, very tart with a dry finish. |
Score: X/5 |
Overall Impression - You know what. I can't honestly rate a beer that I know was flawed. It doesn't feel right. This one clearly got infected somewhere so no matter whose fault that was, I'm not going to lay an opinion on an imperfect product. I wish it wasn't off like this because it gets great reviews and I was quite excited to try it! Better luck next time. |
Score: X/10 |
