Aroma - Smells very acidic and tart with some white bread notes coming from the malts. Interestingly enough, there's not much orange. It's also slightly vinegary with some white pepper mixed in. |
Score: 9/12 |
Appearance - It pours a hazy yet vibrant light gold with a thin white head that will never ever leave and has great lacing. |
Score: 3/3 |
Flavor - Very tart with the perfect amount of malty sweetness to balance it. The saltiness cleans your palate making it crazy refreshing, even with the very dry finish. The orange comes out a bit more when it warms up but it's still subtle. |
Score: 17/20 |
Mouthfeel - Very high carbonation with a thin-medium body. |
Score: 4/5 |
Overall Impression - "Mad refreshing." That's the bolded note I left myself for this review. This beer was so refreshing that it made my vocabulary revert to the 90's. While the finish was dry, it made you reach for the beer more often. That's a good thing because again, you know, it's a damn good beer. |
Score: 9/10 |
