Justin:
Aroma - Sweet fruit flavors and malts mix nicely. Most of the nose is a great citrus bomb from hops that comes across as grapefruit and orange peel. |
Score: 10/12 |
Appearance - The beer pours pale gold with a fluffy white head that disappears to a thin white film. |
Score: 3/3 |
Flavor - Yeah, this is a hop bomb. Grapefruit, orange peel, bitter orange, dank and resinous hops dominate. There's a slight metallic flavor but it's not overwhelming enough to be a distraction. The malts make this one fairly sweet. |
Score: 16/20 |
Mouthfeel - Medium carbonation with a medium body and a smooth finish. |
Score: 4/5 |
Overall Impression - This one was a little on the sweet side but the dankness was amazing. While the citrus flavors and aromas were there in balance, I got a lot more of the resinous flavors and that's what helped cut down on the sweetness. This is a great choice to have if you're telling yourself you'll have one beer for the night.....wink. |
Score: 8/10 |
