Justin:
Aroma - Smells like blueberry muffins and bread. Not many "beer" notes in the aroma but I'll be damned if it doesn't smell delicious. |
Score: 10/12 |
Appearance - Very clear with a light gold color. |
Score: 2/3 |
Flavor - It also tastes like a blueberry muffin. It tastes like an honest to god, liquid blueberry muffin. No hop character to be found. |
Score: 12/20 |
Mouthfeel - Dry finish with high carbonation. |
Score: 3/5 |
Overall Impression - I love blueberry muffins. I love them baked from scratch with fresh blueberries. I love them baked from a box with those fake blueberry things. Hell, I love the mini-muffin versions you buy in pouches. It turns out, if there's one thing I don't like, it's a blueberry muffin beer. I could see this being a real crowd pleaser for Blue Point but it wasn't my cup of tea. |

Blake:
Aroma - Blueberry overwhelms, leaving no room to detect hardly anything else. Smells delicious, but not very beer like. |
Score: 9/12 |
Appearance - Light gold with a slight off-white head. |
Score: 2/3 |
Flavor - The flavor is still overwhelmingly blueberry, however unlike the aroma, I do get a bit of the ale characteristics. |
Score: 13/20 |
Mouthfeel - Light body with medium carbonation. |
Score: 3/5 |
Overall Impression - You can't knock the beer for advertising what it is, but I'd still like to see a bit less blueberry and a bit more ale. I'm not sure I could drink multiple bottles of this in a sitting, but I'm sure my wife would pick up the slack on this one. |

Very underwhelmed by this beer….besides the aroma is falls flat on all other categories. I wish there was more carb to bring out the flavor
