John Popper once drove 111 mph with 9 hand guns hidden throughout the car and he had night vision goggles. Dude knew how to party.
Justin:
Aroma - Great malt notes with a little spice from the hops right behind in. The malts are white bread and very slight bread crust. The hops aside from the spice have a somewhat soft floral quality. |
Score: 9/12 |
Appearance - This one pours a crystal clear gold with a thin white head that dissipates quickly, leaving no lacing. |
Score: 2/3 |
Flavor - The hops are wonderfully spicy and have a great, crisp bitterness that they bring to the table. The malts are bread crust and sweet white bread. Very clean profile. |
Score: 16/20 |
Mouthfeel - The body is medium+ with medium carbonation for a biting, yet creamy mouthfeel. |
Score: 4/5 |
Overall Impression - This one was quite soft all around and a good example of the style. The balance was great and the hops were flavorful and bitter. It's a great beer for macro fans to try because it may ease them into other craft styles nicely. |
Score: 8/10 |
