Earthbound Beer co-owners Stuart Keating, Rebecca Schranz and Jeff Siddons have told the story of their new brewery space to the media for over a year now. Google it. People have written about it extensively. Long story short, they’re moving three doors down to 2724 Cherokee Street (a building once occupied by the Cherokee Brewery in the mid-1800’s) and it has a lot more room for seating and some awesome lagering cellars.
We’re not here to retell that story because it’s been told. With an original opening date of literally 12 months ago and a handful of revisions to that date (most recently announced as the end of last month), we’re not here to announce that it’s opening either. The odds of it opening by the end of this month are pretty good but again, patience is a virtue.
We were curious as to what was going on behind those giant closed doors and we figured you all might be, too. So, we’re just here to give you a tour.
Stuart was kind enough to let us in a couple weeks back to see what the space is becoming. A lot of this construction has been done with architect Nate Dirnberger and the hard work of the Earthbound staff and their friends. So check out how it looks below, appreciate the hard work that’s gone into getting it open, and make sure to stop in when those doors finally open to the public.
Cheers!
