As first time sponsors of St. Louis Craft Beer Week, we're lucky to have some great friends to partner up with to create awesome events. We've got a charity bags tournament with Craft Beer Cellar, a Beer Dinner with Main and Mill Brewing, and now that we've finalized the tap list, we're pleased to announce what will be our first STLCBW Event: I'm So ExStouted!!
Join Blake and Justin from Saint Brewis at Craft Beer Cellar on Tuesday, August 1 at 6pm as we tap some of the biggest limited stouts from around STL. How good are they? If you're not an Untappd user, just know that they're big, they're not easy to get, and they're delicious. If you're an Untappd fan, the lowest rated is 4.11 so there's that.
The one beer you may not be familiar with is only because it's making its debut during STLCBW! Jeff Hardesty from Narrow Gauge was kind enough to provide us with a keg of a 10.1% Imperial Vanilla Stout called Vanil'! This is an extremely limited beer as only THREE kegs of it exist and we have the only one to be tapped away from the brewery!
Here's the complete list of what we'll be tapping:
Logboat Brewing Company: Imperial March - A 10.0% ABV oak-aged Imperial Stout with 33 IBUs.
2nd Shift Brewing Company: Coffee Vanilla LSD - Liquid Spiritual Delight is a chewy, chocolately imperial stout that was artfully paired with Tahitian vanilla beans and blended with Blueprint Coffee. 11.5% ABV and only 70 cases produced.
Schlafly: The Variant - A 9.4% ABV Imperial Stout aged in Port barrels with cocoa nibs (Untappd Rating: 4.30)
Narrow Gauge Brewing: Vanil' - A 10.1% Imperial Vanilla Stout.
4 Hands Brewing: Downfall - This beer is a 9.5% Imperial Milk Stout aged in Bourbon barrels with raspberries.
Perennial Artisan Ales: Sump (2017) - A late addition to the party, we're incredibly excited to be able to pour this 10.5% Imperial Coffee Stout.
NON-STOUT BONUS: 4 Hands wanted to make sure there was something for folks that aren't huge stout fans so we'll have their most recent release "Forbidden Fuzz" on draft as well! Forbidden Fuzz is Belgian Golden with Peach aged in second-use rye whiskey barrels.
These beers won't last long so make your plans now! Click here to register for the event on Facebook.
Tapping schedule will be announced as we get closer to the event.
Cheers!
