If you've been following the site for the last few months, you know that Six Mile Bridge hasn't been treading lightly in 2017. First, they announced their "Big Five Series" of beers back in May. Then, they released "The Reverent," their first ever 750 mL bottle release and the first beer in that Big Five Series. Now they have one more bomb to drop and we're still only in June!
Customers are excited about the direction that this Maryland Heights brewery has been going and demand for their beer has been increasing. Owners Ryan and Lindsay Sherring were consistently being pestered by patrons to keep the brewery open more days each week. The good news for those customers is that they actually listened.
"We've had people begging us to open more days for a while now and we're finally in a position to do that. If the people want beer, we'll give them beer." - Six Mile Bridge Co-Owner, Lindsay Sherring
The brewery will now be open five days per week instead of the three days per week that they've had in place since they opened just under two years ago. You can now stop in Tuesday-Saturday (full hours below) to try some of their fan favorites like the Irish Red and Hefeweizen or grab a pint of one of their seasonals they rotate through like the mango hibiscus blonde currently on draught.
To kick off their new business hours, they're throwing a bingo party Tuesday night, 6/27 starting at 7pm (click here for details). Why bingo? According to Lindsay, "Who doesn't like wearing green see-thru visors, drinking beer and shouting 'Bingo!' across the tap room?!" I can't say that I disagree.
Kudos to the whole crew at Six Mile Bridge for taking on this new endeavor and congrats to the customers who made it happen.
