For the 35th year in a row, beer lovers will gather in Colorado at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF), the premier beer festival and competition in the U.S. With 379,000 square feet in the tasting hall, an anticipated 60,000 attendees will have the opportunity to sample some 3,800 beers from more than 800 breweries.
We posted recently that Justin is going to be attending GABF this year (Blake’s still awaiting his press pass request *fingers crossed*). Well today, the list of breweries were announced and 11 of them hail from our great state of Missouri. In alphabetical order, those breweries are:
2nd Shift Brewing Co
4 Hands Brewing Co
Crane Brewing Company
Double Shift Brewing
Flat Branch Pub and Brewing
Logboat Brewing Co
Main And Mill Brewing Company
Mark Twain Brewing Company
Piney River Brewing Company
Schlafly Beer/The Saint Louis Brewery, LLC
Stockyards Brewing Company
While we’re going to cover as many beers and breweries as possible, you bet your keister we’ll be partying with all these folks for a lot of the time we’re out west. This list is subject to change so some more could come and some could stay home, but these 11 breweries represent some great diversity in the STL/MO brewing community and we’re excited that folks from all around the world will be able to see how well our little “flyover state” makes beer.
Cheers!
